Join fellow sustainable fashion folks at the beautiful Remade in Brooklyn space for a holiday party! Drinks, snacks, conversations, and holiday portraits in front of our custom painted nature mural. Come see your friends and meet more! We are kicking off 3 weeks of reuse and remaking programming in this space and are excited to invite SFC to be among the first to visit!

Cory Skuldt, a leading circular apparel strategist and consultant, will speak about the current state of the circular fashion economy and what she sees happening in the future.

This event is sponsored by MOR, a new tech platform and system making reuse easy and rewarding. MOR pays people and businesses for buying, selling, renting and mending experienced goods. Remade is hosting the MOR Encounter Dec 4-22 with a schedule full of workshops, hands-on projects, and salon talks to help the community discovery circularity as a satisfying and social solution to the climate emergency. If you bring your clothes to mend, remake, or resell, they will be registered in the MOR systems and earn rewards now and in the future every time they change hands.

SFC co-founder Allison Vicenzi is a partner in MOR, along with SFC member Stephen P. Williams and technologist Meredith Finkelstein Chang. Several SFC members are running workshops and DIY stations throughout December. We are excited to partner and invite you to reach out via mor.earth if you have ideas or interest in collaborating for the event programming or in the future.

Our events are zero waste but we are always looking for suggestions to improve ~ if you have new ideas for drinks and snacks you think we should know about, send us a message :)
